I'm Only 3 Years Older Than d Wife

Today. And for the next 9 days (hint hint).

Happy Birthday Lisa!

I noted a while ago that she likes French Macaroons. So, her birthday cake is a custom French Macaroon cake that I dreamt up with the good folks at Europane in Pasadena (killer lemon squares, croissants and French Macaroons!).

LisaBdayCake.jpg

Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy biiiirthday dea--

LisaBdayCake2.jpg

She really likes French Macaroons. And Fury likes chocolate shavings.

(And I like patting myself on the back.)

Now that looks very, very dangerous (and delicious!). I'd say that was good for a few brownie points.

July 12, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterFrugal Dad

Can you marry me? Or at least send me a cake?

Happy Birthday, d!

July 12, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterA Whole Lot of Nothing

Score! 1 point from d Wife and 1 point from Fury!

A little secret. I don't really know how to bake either, but I can follow directions from a box. Pimpin' a cake is like Legos, but with food.

That cake. I'm in cake love . . . I would sacrifice my size 4s to eat this thing. Size 4s . . . I'm so kidding. Size 4 for one leg maybe :)

Happy Birthday to Busy Mom!!!

July 12, 2008 | Unregistered CommenterLaskiGal
