And for those of you who missed it (which is pretty much everyone, since BlogTalkRadio was having technical difficulties during our broadcast!), I have the recorded version of my radio interview from Soapbox Radio. Soapbox Mom told me last night that there were actually 22 callers waiting on the line trying to talk to me! And I know a bunch of you hung out in the chat room waiting an entire hour for the sound to come on. WOW. I DO feel like a rockstar. Thank you ALL, whoever you are! (and it was totally cool that Secret Agent Mama and Kimmylyn did manage to get through). And if that didn't convince you to waste a good hour listening to me talk about myself, Mr Lady joins us for the last 15 minutes or so. And she reveals the origins of her name (I knew that would convince you).

W8Loss Wednesday - Into the Fray I Go
For those of you who have been keeping up with W8Loss Wednesday over at PG's AnnoyinglyBoring and Scott Townsend's W8LossWednesday blogs, you may have noticed that it's been a 2-man race for the past 3 months. That's because I was extremely successful at convincing myself that I didn't need no stinkin' competition to keep me in shape. Well if I was doing so well, this wouldn't have happened:
Fury is watching TV in our room as I pass by, looking for a T-shirt.
“Hey dad you look strong!”
Flexing juuust a little, I turn around.
“Thanks Fury!”
“...and fat in the front.”

The Story of Krypto, Our Super Dog
My crazy, busy, kick-ass life would not be the same without my rockin’ dog Krypto. Although he only makes a cameo here or there in this blog, he has never once complained, graciously giving up the spotlight to his packmate Marcus. Well, today is this dog’s day on the internet. There’s nothing like catching a live band in a rowdy bar. Bikers, beer and … kids? Yup, if my son gets picked up by the law on the day of his junior high graduation for starting a bar fight, I can look back on this day as the tipping point. Video clip.
