A haiku tribute to the art of the shoulder ride
Thursday, September 20, 2007 Dad, I am tired.
Can I steer you like a horse?
No reigns. Ears will do.
My kid fell asleep.
Did not bother to tell me.
Forty-five pound scarf.

Hot. Ninety Degrees.
Nice breeze up on dad’s shoulders.
All dad smells is feet.
Mall. Christmas season.
Kid on top. Five bags in hand.
Someone kill me now.
Escalator sign.
Child and parent must hold hands.
Screw that. Extreme sports!
Son on my shoulders.
Abercrombie ceiling fan.
Ten-dollar co-pay.
(just kidding!! But do be careful)

So cute :)
Haiku tribute....alright I have to admit that's rather brilliant.

[BusyDad] Haha - no it doesn't. But I do get a frequent adjustees discount!
Hopped over from Burn's site - Loved the first page of posts and am now going through your archives :) I must say though that the reason I'm commenting on this entry - is simply because I saw the paper bag of Max's chicken in one of the photos - i love max's! (I didn't know there was Max's outside the Philippines) But seriously, I'm sending over your URL to my husband. Hopefully he can take a hint and learn a few tips from you -I hope he lasts long enough to read through your entries (as he's known to not want to read anything that is not in comic book format LOL). Love your site! Please don't stop writing!
